LOCAL EATS | FRUITCRAFT SAN DIEGO
I’ll have to admit, I’m always on the hunt for new places to wine and dine in San Diego. So as soon as I heard about FruitCraft, formally known as California Fruit Wine Co., I knew I had to check it out! After experiencing it for myself, I can tell you now that FruitCraft will be your new go-to spot in San Diego if you love good food, deliciously crafted cocktails, and great service! And who doesn’t?!
What is FruitCraft?
FruitCraft is an employee owned and mission driven fermentary and distillery.
FruitCraft was started by twin brothers, Alan and Brian Haghighi, who were inspired by the creativity found in San Diego’s craft beverage scene. But where breweries ferment mostly grains and where wineries ferment grapes, FruitCraft takes creativity in craft alcohol to a whole new level by fermenting some of the highest quality and most exotic ingredients on earth, every other fruit.
We were able to go on a quick tour with Brian, one of the co-founders, and he shared his knowledge and experience behind their craft, what makes them unique, and their passion for creativity. They have taken fermenting to a whole new level using fruits of all kinds, and once they’ve done that, they also distill it to turn them into spirits! At FruitCraft they offer both for you to try – and trust me you won’t be disappointed either way. I was able to try their tasting flight, had a white sangria, and ended the evening with a blueberry mojito. SO GOOD!
What I loved most about FruitCraft is that they offer food as well. They have bites + snacks, salads, flatbreads, and sweets that you can enjoy yourself or with a bunch of friends! And lemme tell ya, I loved everything I got to try! My favorite definitely had to be the Spicy California Sunshine Flatbread and their cheese plate! YUM! I honestly cannot wait to go back, because this easily became one of my go-to spots! And I can’t wait until it’ll get to be yours too! They will have their grand opening celebration next Friday (June 23rd) throughout the weekend and will offer 10% off if you RSVP!

Also can we talk about how cute this “Better. Together.” wall is?! It was the perfect backdrop to take a few photos with my favorite people, not to mention FruitCraft is the perfect space to be better together with those you care about!
