 Position Title: Server 


Reports To: Manager 


Position Summary:  Under the direction of the Manager the Tasting Room Server will consistently execute the service standards of FruitCraft. They will contribute to informing our offerings based on consumer and member feedback.The Tasting Room Server is expected to follow all FruitCraft policies, prioritize the company during working hours while being a positive and supportive team member. 


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:


  • Obtain a L.E.A.D certificate (License Education on Alcohol and Drugs) and SafeServ. 

  • Follow and execute FruitCraft front of house policies. 

  • Execute table service standards. 

  • Possess knowledge of FruitCraft company history and products.

  • Direct all event inquiries to management.

  • Complete all opening, closing and daily assigned tasks including mopping, sweeping, changing toilet paper rolls, cleaning up spills among other tasks. 

  • Keep the front of the house organized and clean.

  • Running food during service and setting up food during events.

  • Bussing tables during service and events. 

  • Comply with all health/safety requirements.

  • Ensure equipment is properly operated and maintained.

  • Pour/ serve wine, beer and other beverages for the bar, serve food, mix basic craft cocktails.

  • Notify management of any complaints or accidents.

  • Maintain a fun and safe atmosphere for customers.

  • Ability to work with and serve people of diverse backgrounds.

  • Physically able to stand and move during the length of shift; able to bend and kneel; able to carry 40 or more pounds; move tables and chairs from one part of the venue to another during events.

  • Work at least two-three events a month. 

  • Efficiently set up and break down for events. 

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required for regular service and events.

Compensation


  • $13/hr plus tips, part-time. 

At FruitCraft we believe that all front of house and back of house staff are needed to execute our standards of service. For this reason we pool all tips and share them on a merit basis with all staff that contribute to the execution of the day of service.
